This seems quite obvious to most people and well for all intents and purposes it is obvious but at the same time oh how I wish life was like a TV show. I mean wouldn’t it be great that in 30-60 minutes all of your problems could be solved and you could go on and lead an amazingly great life. You would only have to deal with your problems during a very brief period of time in which a commercial would give you time to breathe and you would only have to know what you are doing about 1/24^th of the time. But then again, wouldn’t it really be terrible if the greatest moments of our lives were only given in that same amount of time. I mean I can think back on some pretty spectacular points in my life and oh how I wish I could re-live them over and over again. Sometimes I find that I am caught up in trying to re-create these moments that were truly great for me. Hoping beyond hope that those same feelings and emotions that I once had can return to me and I won’t just have to wax nostalgia but that I can actually experience the great moments of my life again. My happy moments if you will, the moments that I know I once had and hope to have again these are what I need more of in my life. The moments in life that make it worth living, this is what my goal should be. To live each day making moments to be remembered and to be blogged about if you will this should be where my focus should lie. I think that is what my previous post is really about in regards to my writing assignment from my English professor. I need to find a way to spend more moments living and less moments figuring out how. I’m tired of life just passing me by and I am just a spectator. I don’t know what I am going to do about it but I know I need to do something more or different than what I currently am doing.
