For my wedding my wife and I received a plaque with “Everyday is a gift” inscribed on it. It now hangs on one of our walls as a constant reminder of how precious the present is, and how important it is to not take the day for granted. I think we often get caught up in the day to day grind of life and forget how important it is to treasure what we have in our life. Perhaps that is what the holiday season is all about, taking time to enjoy the moments that can bring us all together. In the upcoming month starting after Thanksgiving my blog will be dedicated to the Christmas season. Each day I will share something special about Christmas. I’m sure that the holiday spirit will come alive in all of us as we enjoy these wonderful moments.
Along with everyday being a gift and the holiday season coming up, I am going to give each person that posts a comment on my blog a gift. There will also be gifts for you as you comment more on the various posts. In the spirit of giving I invite you all to share this blog with those you love so they too can receive gifts.
